Sunset Beach Tarpon Springs Wedding was the Best Parent’s Wedding!!

Dave contacted me to perform his wedding on January 23 at Sunset Beach in Tarpon. I met with him, and Kris, and we discussed their Sunset Beach Tarpon Springs wedding. Kris wanted to be married on 1/23 at 4:56 pm. She said that way they would never forget there anniversary 1,2,3,4,5,6…We discussed all the arrangements and were set to go. Both were very excited and looking forward to their beach wedding.

A few days before the wedding Dave called me and said they need to change the location of the wedding. It would have to be at Dixie Field in Spring Hill. They found out that their kids had softball tryouts. They said they would just have the wedding at the ball park. They were agreeable to find a tree and have the ceremony same time scheduled. They realize how important the tryouts were to the kids and were willing to sacrifice their wedding location to accommodate them. I offered alternate date or time if they wanted, but no they said the ball park would work. I thoughts wow, “You guys are the Best Parents.”

Best Parents

Best Parents

On Friday I got to the park and there was a beautiful tree adjacent to the ball park where we had the ceremony. Kris looked so pretty in her white gown with a black, white & pink sash and carried a pretty pink ball of flowers that she had made. Neither she nor Dave looked like the typical softball parents at the ball park. We had a lovely ceremony. Both said truly heartfelt words to each other and I could see that it really didn’t matter where they were married; they were just so happy to be getting married!!

Just happy to be married

Dave messaged me the following day thanking me for everything and said I did a great job. He also wanted me to send him the vows so he could frame them.
