Tallahassee Wedding Officiant: Lichgate On High Rd Wedding

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, Lichgate on High Rd. is a beautiful hidden gem in Tallahassee, Florida. As a Tallahassee Wedding Officiant, I LOVE having opportunities to frequent Lichgate on High Rd. Lichgate is located on High Rd. (duh) in between Tharpe St. and Tennessee St. If you blink you’ll miss it! They have a tiny poll out front where a driveway is. It’s the perfect location for weddings- small or large. As a Tallahassee Wedding Officiant, I have performed small weddings with just 2 people, a large wedding with 100 guests, and medium size weddings with 30-50 guests. The park is large enough that anything will work and be beautiful. When you booked a Lichgate on High Rd wedding the park is closed for you! So it’s a beautiful intimate setting. The volunteers that run Lichgate on High Rd are very friendly, helpful, and willing to work with you to make your experience at Lichgate remarkable.

On Saturday, November 1, 2014 I have the honor of being Brian and Julie’s Tallahassee Wedding Officiant for their Lichgate on High Rd wedding. The day was a bit colder than they were hoping for BUT it was beautiful and sunny. They had about 50 guests in attendance. White chairs were lined up under the big oak tree that makes Lichgate on High Rd special. Rose pedals lined the isle. A big white tent was setup with tables, chairs, heaters, and a dance floor for the reception. It was truly a beautiful beautiful setup for a wedding. Our friend Sweet Cakes by Alisha made their gorgeous cupcake cake. The wedding ceremony was short and sweet. Brian’s son walked down the isle with the runs then Julie’s dad walked her down the isle. Everyone was joyeous. At the end of the ceremony, I asked everyone to blow their bubbles (a small bubble pack was on everyone’s chair) so when Brian and Julie happily walked down the isle as newly weds bubbles blew threw the air…it was fun! I loved working with Julie and Brian and wish them many many years of happiness!!
