Sarah Hunt & Michael’s Goodwood Wedding- Tallahassee Wedding Coordinator

On February 20, 2016 Sarah Hunt married Michael Hinson at Goodwood Museum and Gardens in Tallahassee. I was their Tallahassee Wedding Day-of-Coordinator. I worked with Sarah Hunt for months putting together all the pieces of their wedding. They live in St. Petersburg, FL so planning from a distance required many emails, calls, and text messages. Sarah Hunt and Michael are a perfect match and it was such an honor to put together their wedding. The day after the wedding Sarah Hunt sent me a message “Thank you so much for everything yesterday! We couldn’t have done it without you and Tyler. We can’t thank you enough!”

The day of the wedding the weather was perfect. A Country Rose Florist & Vintage Rental’s hung 6 beautiful chandeliers inside the Carriage House.

My assistant, Tyler, and I setup everything else. Tables with burlap runners, ceremony chairs with rose pedal aisle, cocktail tables outside, draped clothe, guest book and gift table, etc.

Reception in the Goodwood Carriage House.

The ceremony was held outside in the gardens. Over 150 guests attended. The amazing Eppes Quartet played for the ceremony. Sarah Hunt’s Dad walked her down the aisle; it was beautiful.

After the ceremony Sarah Hunt and Michael took photos while guests enjoyed a cocktail hour outside the Carriage House. Cocktail hour included a popcorn bar (Sarah’s favorite snack) and raw oyster bar (Michael’s favorite snack).

The reception was held inside the Carriage House. Michael’s Dad and Uncle’s band played live music for the first half of the reception then DJ Kitt took over. Guests enjoyed an amazing buffet dinner, cake, and dessert table.

A family friend, Karen, made this beautiful cake.

Sarah Hunt and Michael did a first look which include exchanging letters to one another.
