Tampa Wedding Officiant Reflect Over 12 Years of Officiating
By: Charmaine Doumanian
April 23rd was my wedding anniversary. Little did I realize, or ever expect, when George Sr. and I took our vows that 32 years later I’d be a Tampa wedding officiant and would be performing wedding ceremonies, vow renewal ceremonies, & photographing couples at beaches, parks, boats, chapels, homes, and so many unique places throughout Tampa Bay Florida.
I have been a Tampa wedding officiant for over 12 years and through the years I have had the privilege of working with couples from all over the world to create their Tampa Bay wedding. One of first beach weddings I officiated was with Annette & Tom Baker on Long Boat Key. I corresponded with Annette before the big day to help prepare their special vows. They had a lovely sunset wedding on Long Boat Key beach and I truly enjoyed officiating their wedding.
Tampa Florida has become a VERY popular location for weddings. I’ve seen people travel from as far as Australia to get married on one of our beautiful beaches. In 2009, George & Allison traveled from England to be married at Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs. Like many couples, George & Allison still keep in contact through our Facebook page.
Over the past 12 years, I’ve worked hard to provide exceptional Tampa Wedding Officiant services and because of that we have expanded our services to help even more couples with their Tampa wedding officiant needs. We provide Tampa Wedding Officiant services anywhere from sunrise to sunset, at midnight on New Year’s Eve, on Christmas, Thanksgiving, and MANY more! We also provide vow renewal services, wedding packages, and photography packages. As we grow to help more people, I feel proud to have a local family owned and operated business that brings happiness to other families during such special times. My son, George Jr. has been working with me for the past 7 years and has performed many weddings- including weddings in Spanish! My daughter, Amanda, started the Tallahassee division of A Notary on The Go & A Beautiful Wedding in Florida 5 years ago and has married people throughout the Tallahassee and Big Bend area. My husband, George Sr., officiates weddings all around Tampa Bay and is our amazing photographer– check out his portfolio at: photosbygeorgesr.zenfolio. com
George Sr. and I have had quite the journey and as I perform wedding ceremonies and prepare vows, I think about the journey the couple I’m marrying is about to take. Marriage is more than love & fluff; it is a lifetime commitment. It is a wonderful unknown journey that you should have fun with it as you work through the obstacles of life. As a Tampa wedding officiant, I also perform vow renewal ceremonies. Which really make me reflect on the journey that the couple has traveled. I had the honor of being a part of Lorie & Emil’s vow renewal ceremony in New Port Richey. Lorie never had the wedding she always wanted. So last year, she had a lovely 20 year vow renewal celebrating with family & friends. With all the couples me and my family are involved with, we wish them many years of happiness and feel so honored to be a part of their journey!
