St. George Island is located about 80 miles West of Tallahassee. Its a 28 miles island that is serene and beautiful. This area has many beach house that are available for rent which make for a perfect St. George Island Beach Wedding! Couples rent the house and their family and friends stay at the house. Then on the wedding day we go outside onto the beach to have a wonderful ceremony. The reception follows at the house. We’ve seen couples have everyone stand on the beach and have a short and sweet ceremony, while others have chairs, an arch, and music setup. Either way the scene is always amazingly romantic because the beach isn’t crowded with tourists.
On April 26th, Amanda had the honor of officiating Noelle and Keith’s St. George Island Beach Wedding. The day was gorgeous and they were such a fun easy going couple to work with. They had an arch setup on the beach and a burlap isle runner with lanterns lining it. Keith’s brother played an acoustic guitar, which really added to the ambiance. After the ceremony guest were going back to the house to enjoy a low country boil dinner- how fun!
