Vow Renewal Ceremony Ideas

A vow renewal ceremony is a wonderful opportunity for a couple to reflect on their marriage journey and to recommit their love for each other. A vow renewal ceremony can also be the opportunity to have the wedding you always dreamed of, but never had. Vow renewal ceremonies can also include children.

We can include a sand ceremony for the children to be a part of the ceremony. Each child participating along with parents would have a different color sand to blend into an empty center container. This symbolizes that the individual containers of sand can no longer be separated and so will your marriage and family never be separated. The blended container of sand is then given back to you for a keepsake souvenir.

On many occasions we perform surprise vow renewals. No legal documents are required for a vow renewal, so it is a great opportunity for a surprise ceremony. If you don’t have a gift for your anniversary a vow renewal ceremony is a treasured gift that will always be remembered. We have suggestions and ideas on how we can surprise your spouse. We have packages that include photographer or without photographer. We would always take photos with our “We Still Do and Always Will” sign and provide a souvenir certificate recognizing your ceremony.

Vow renewal ceremonies can be performed anywhere.  It can be at your home, park, beach or any place that you would like. This can be planned in advance or last minute!! We do a lot of Clearwater Beach vow renewal ceremonies and St. George Island vow renewal ceremonies. Vow renewal ceremonies on the beach while you are on vacation are a fun way to celebrate your love while enjoying your vacation.

Florida Marriage License Information

Uncategorized

A valid Florida marriage license is required to be legally married in Florida. The marriage license can be issued at any County Clerk’s office in Florida; it doesn’t have to be the county where you are getting married. A Florida marriage license can be issued as early as 60 days before the wedding. For Florida residents there is a three-day waiting period after getting the license before you can be married. If a premarital on-line counseling course is completed, you can get married on the same day you get your license. Out-of-state residents can be married the same day that they get the Florida marriage license. When applying for your marriage license both parties must be present.

We do offer a convenient Florida mail away license service where you can “Show up and Get Married.” No going to the Courthouse!!! This is extremely popular for families and couples that travel to Clearwater or St George Island Florida to get marriage and don’t want to spend their time going to a courthouse.

Witnesses are not required. There is an optional spot for 2 witnesses to sign the marriage license but this is not required. If you truly want to elope with just you and your fiancé- you can 🙂

The Florida marriage license must be presented on the day of the wedding for notary or minister to complete. Whoever performs your ceremony would send the license back to the county where the license was issued. The county will then record your marriage and send you a certified copy of your marriage license. The certified copy of the marriage license is what you would need to change your name.

Rainy Clearwater Sand Key Park Elopement Ceremony

Rainy Clearwater Sand Key Park Elopement Ceremony

Tiffany contacted me early in the week and asked me if I was available on Friday June 12th at sunset to perform a wedding ceremony. Her fiancé, Erdem, challenged her to see if she could put together an elopement package on such a short notice.  She wanted an officiant and a photographer.  They were coming to Florida from Texas for the weekend and wanted to get married. Tiffany and I got it all put together; and were looking forward to meeting on Friday.

When Tiffany and Erdem arrived in Florida on Friday they went to the County Clerks Office and got their Florida Marriage License. Tiffany contacted me and asked if they could do a champagne toast and cake at the park. I told they could and offered to get it for her. She wanted a white butter cream cake and a nice bottle of champagne. She was so thankful that I was able to pick everything up for her and make their elopement so fun simple.

All day Friday the weather was gorgeous. By 6pm the clouds moved-in and it started to rain. We were planning on meeting at 7:30pm at Sand Key Park in Clearwater. As I was heading to the park I could see some breaks in the clouds, but it just kept raining. When we got to the park there was still a heavy mist. The nice thing about the rain was that we had the park to ourselves. We found a pretty spot by some trees overlooking the ocean. I had umbrellas with me and we proceeded with their Rainy Clearwater Sand Key Park Elopement Ceremony.  The rain didn’t stop the love they had for each other shining through.

After the ceremony the rain let up enough for them to go out onto the beach for photos. I told them I would setup the cake and champagne at a nearby shelter. After the pictures Tiffany and Erdem met me at the shelter where Erdem popped the cork on the champagne and celebrated with a toast to his lovely bride.

The following day Tiffany e-mailed me and said, “Thank you so much Charmaine! It was a delight to work with you and we greatly appreciate your time and efforts to make our day so special. “

The Tampa Florida Aquarium is in the Channelside area of Tampa which is a convenient place to downtown, the airport, restaurants and many hotels.  A Tampa Florida Aquarium Wedding is a great for 75-100 guests.

Megan contacted Charmaine through Wedding Wire and they corresponded months before the wedding to create a ceremony that was perfect for Megan and Greg’s fun Tampa Florida Aquarium Wedding ceremony.

Megan & Greg met through mutual friends. When they got engaged they had just visited the aquarium in Atlanta; which is where they got the idea to have their wedding at an aquarium. Megan and Greg live in Pensacola Florida so the Tampa Florida Aquarium was a central place for guests to travel to. Plus it was not too far for them to be able to have their honeymoon at Disney World in Orlando.

Their wedding took place in the Coral Reef Panoramic Room in the aquarium.  Megan & Greg stood in front of the aquarium where the ceremony was performed by Charmaine. The guests could see Megan & Greg and behind them in the aquarium over 2000 beautiful fish, coral, eels, sting rays & sharks swam around and watched in on the ceremony.  Greg was tearful the moment he saw his beautiful bride come down the aisle. Megan wore a stunning white dress and her father was holding back tears as he gave his daughter to Greg. That was just the beginning of the tears as both Megan & Greg were tearful with emotions as they read their vows to each other.  Megan & Greg performed a hand ceremony and the wine box & love letter.

The bridal party wore knee length purple dresses and the groomsmen wore a deep gray with purple boutonnieres.   The guest were asked to turn cell phones off and put cameras down and to let the photographer capture how the moment looked and capture how it feels in your hearts without the distraction of technology. After the ceremony guest were invited for cocktails while photos were taken in front of the aquarium. After the ceremony the chairs were removed and tables are set up for dinner and reception in the Coral Reef Room.
