On Friday, George Sr. performed Cody and Sarah’s wedding ceremony at the St Pete Lion’s Club in Treasure Island. It was a picture perfect evening for a wedding. Sarah and Cody wanted to have a sweet simple wedding ceremony and keep the cost down. St Pete Lion’s Club is right on the beach and in the event of rain or extreme heat the ceremony can be performed inside. The inside of the hall has a full function room and is very reasonably priced to rent out. To keep within their budget, Sarah and Cody did a lot of the decorations themselves, the setup the ceremony chairs, and put up a pretty arbor on the beach. Cody decorated and put the arbor together.
Sarah and Cody traveled to St Pete from Georgia. There were about 40 guest at their wedding ceremony at the St Pete Lion’s Club in Treasure Island. Sarah had corresponded with me in preparing the ceremony. Sarah got teary eyed reading the ceremony vow piece that I put together for her. She was very excited and nervous. She wanted her ceremony to be a fun filled day of love and happiness.
As George Sr. performed the ceremony Sarah was tearful. George had them pause and give each other a nice hug before continuing on. They performed a unity sand ceremony. They had a table with the unity sand ceremony setup adjacent to Cody by the arbor with a photo of a very close friend who passed away.
After the ceremony the reception was going to be on the outside patio at the Lion’s Club. Sarah and Cody were so thankful for everything we had done for them in helping make their wedding ceremony at the St Pete Lion’s Club in Treasure Island special.
