St. George Island State Park is a significant portion of the eastern end of the island and is ideal for wedding ceremonies. The park features pristine beaches, dunes, and salt marshes. It’s a great spot for picnicking, hiking, and observing wildlife. Other than the entrance fee there is no fee to have your wedding inside the State Park- unless you choose to rent a pavilion
There are several restaurants and eateries on the island that serve fresh seafood and other local delicacies. Dining with a view of the Gulf of Mexico is a common and delightful experience for visitors.
Whether you are having a large wedding or a small elopement getting married on St. George Island is beautiful. All the beaches are public so you can get married anywhere you want. We can set up chairs and arbors and rose hearts OR we can simply walk out on the beach and get you married with the sand in between your toes.
