Shanik and Jeff had their wedding ceremony at Andrew’s Chapel in Dunedin on the Saturday before Labor Day. After being together for six years and having a beautiful five year old daughter, Kierra, they decided it was time to be married. Andrews Chapel has the historic early Florida Victorian charm and is centrally located close to downtown Dunedin near Hammock Park. The chapel has an open alter with shiny hardwood flooring and wooden pews. A convenient changing room for bride & bridal party is adjacent to the chapel.
Shanik had relatives from her hometown, Jamaica. Here Grandma was so tearful, and almost had me in tears, as she was escorted down the aisle to “Ave Maria”. The bridesmaid wore teal sleeveless dresses and the groomsmen had matching ties with beige suits. Shanik looked absolutely stunning with her sleeveless white dress. The dress had a jewel beaded waistline and Shanik accented her neck with a lovely necklace and matching head piece. She got her dress at David’s Bridal and carried a beautiful bouquet of white and deep peach colored roses. Their daughter, Kierra, carried the rings in a box. She was very excited and looked adorable.
Shanik and Jeff were having a reception at 315 Banquet Hall in Palm Harbor.
Shanik sent me a text message the following Monday and said, “Thank you so much Charmaine you helped make our wedding day perfect and are really thankful.”
I really enjoyed meeting them and serving as their Dunedin wedding ceremony officiant
