Tallahassee Officiant Performs Wedding at The Front Porch

On June 28, 2014, I had the pleasure of officiating Jenni and Jason’s wedding at The Front Porch in Tallahassee. Jason’s mom, Carolyn, had helped arrange everything for the wedding including me, the non-denominationalĀ Tallahassee Wedding Officiant šŸ™‚ Jenni and Jason were originally going to get married at the Court House but Carolyn wanted to help make it a little bit more special so she hired me and arranged the reception.

The Front Porch restaurant is located in Midtown Tallahassee, Florida, and presents fresh, locally-sourced seafood in an upscale, casual atmosphere. The Front Porch brings an unexpected culinary offering to the famed location where southern hospitality has abounded for years. The Front Porch restaurant previously was a fancy french restaurant calledĀ ChezĀ Pierre. I had officiated a beautiful intimate wedding there a few years ago so it was neat to go back and see how The Front Porch had modernized the room and decor.

Jenni and Jason had a short and sweet ceremony in front of the fire place. The wedding was on the 2nd floor of The Front Porch. Jenni’s daughter, Stephanie, helped with the rings when I asked during the ceremony. After the ceremony friends and family were going to have a lovely meal.
