Tiffany contacted me early in the week and asked me if I was available on Friday June 12th at sunset to perform a wedding ceremony. Her fiancé, Erdem, challenged her to see if she could put together an elopement package on such a short notice. She wanted an officiant and a photographer. They were coming to Florida from Texas for the weekend and wanted to get married. Tiffany and I got it all put together; and were looking forward to meeting on Friday.
When Tiffany and Erdem arrived in Florida on Friday they went to the County Clerks Office and got their Florida Marriage License. Tiffany contacted me and asked if they could do a champagne toast and cake at the park. I told they could and offered to get it for her. She wanted a white butter cream cake and a nice bottle of champagne. She was so thankful that I was able to pick everything up for her and make their elopement so fun simple.
All day Friday the weather was gorgeous. By 6pm the clouds moved-in and it started to rain. We were planning on meeting at 7:30pm at Sand Key Park in Clearwater. As I was heading to the park I could see some breaks in the clouds, but it just kept raining. When we got to the park there was still a heavy mist. The nice thing about the rain was that we had the park to ourselves. We found a pretty spot by some trees overlooking the ocean. I had umbrellas with me and we proceeded with their Rainy Clearwater Sand Key Park Elopement Ceremony. The rain didn’t stop the love they had for each other shining through.
After the ceremony the rain let up enough for them to go out onto the beach for photos. I told them I would setup the cake and champagne at a nearby shelter. After the pictures Tiffany and Erdem met me at the shelter where Erdem popped the cork on the champagne and celebrated with a toast to his lovely bride.
The following day Tiffany e-mailed me and said, “Thank you so much Charmaine! It was a delight to work with you and we greatly appreciate your time and efforts to make our day so special. “
