Kristen contacted me to perform a wedding for her and her fiancé Kevin on Clearwater Beach November 15th. She had never been to Clearwater and wanted suggestions about where to have the ceremony, places to stay, and places to go for dinner after the ceremony. It was just going to be her and her fiancé. We discussed options and decided on a Sand Key Park wedding ceremony. Kristen was so excited planning her wedding with me. I very much enjoyed helping her out. She said this was the first marriage for both of them. They were a little older and knew when they found each other that they were meant to be together.
While working with Kristen, I sent her ceremony vow pieces and she selected the vows that she knew were exactly what their relationship was to each other. She said she just started crying when she read the ceremony piece.
Kristen wanted one stop shop for her wedding so we put it all together over the phone. She wanted photographer, a decorated arbor, music and a video. She sent me photographs of the arbor she wanted and I put together a nice package for her. George Sr. did the photographs and video. George Sr. and I set up the arch and decorated it just as she wanted.
Kristen later found out that her Dad would be able to come to the wedding, and would give her away. She lost her Mother last year. Her parents had been married over 40 years and it meant a lot to her, and her Dad, for them to be together on her wedding. She also had a brother who last year almost died from a stroke. He also was going to be able to attend the wedding. Kristen was so bubbly with excitement!!
It was a beautiful day for a Kristen and Kevin’s Sand Key Park wedding ceremony; a little cool, gorgeous sunny, and beautiful blue sky. As Kristen walked out to Kevin he had tears in his eyes. I could feel the love they so much have for each other. Kristen looked so pretty. She had such a smiley face and radiated with love and emotion. She carried a beautiful bouquet of red and white roses. They both had tears as they looked at each other during the ceremony. When the ceremony was over Kristen could do not to start crying. She had thoughts of her mother and how much she wished she were there.
Kristen loves taking pictures and asked George to take a number of different poses that he has glad to do.
Kristen and Kevin were staying in Florida until Monday. They were so thankful and appreciated everything we did for them. We really enjoyed working together and creating their Sand Key Park wedding ceremony.
