Holiday Clearwater Wedding Ceremonies throughout Clearwater Florida

News

With family and friends gathering for Thanksgiving Holiday it was also a great time for a Clearwater wedding.

We had a very rainy day last Tuesday. Kirk and Christine were planning on having a sunset Clearwater wedding ceremony on the beach. We held out with the plans until late morning. Kirk called me and said we better go with plan B. Kirk asked me for suggestions. I gave him a few ideas, but he actually came up with a beautiful protected spot. The ceremony was at Lake Seminole Park in Seminole. They had found a shelter that overlooked the lake. It was a very pretty spot. The rain didn’t stop them from having a beautiful wedding overlooking the water. Wasn’t the Clearwater wedding they had planned, but it was very pretty location.

While visiting parents for Thanksgiving on Reddington Shores Beach. Jacki and Jerry wanted a simple ceremony on the beach. The rain stopped, but it was rather cold and windy afternoon. The condo where they were staying had a balcony overlooking the beach. The ceremony was held on the balcony. George Sr was doing photos. After the ceremony he took pictures in the condo and on balcony overlooking the ocean.  Jacki wanted to have photos on the beach. It was a beautiful sunny day so Jacki and Jerry went out on the beach for photos.

A Beautiful Wedding In Florida Palm Harbor, Dunedin & Tallahassee family took a mini vacation over Thanksgiving. We all went on a cruise together as a family. We had an awesome time. While we were away weddings were still performed. An associate Ellida Zahumensky performed holiday weekend weddings. On Saturday Jennifer and Juan were married on Pass-A-Grille Beach. Jennifer had contacted me over a year ago to officiate her wedding. She was going to be married earlier in the year, but her plans had to be changed due to a family emergency involving her brother being ill. We had corresponded and I rebooked the day for her this past Saturday. I prepared the ceremony, and instructed Ellida on what Jennifer and Juan wanted for their ceremony. Ellida performed a beautiful sand ceremony. Jennifer and Juan were very happy.

Also on Saturday Ellida performed a home ceremony for Charito and Dave. They were having family and friends for Thanksgiving Holiday and decided to have a wedding in their backyard. I corresponded with Charito in preparing ceremony and Ellida performed a lovely ceremony at their home in Land O’Lakes.

Last Saturday night, I officiated Nichole and Rick’s Clearwater Beach wedding. The wedding and reception was held at the Clearwater Recreational Center. They had a Hawaiian theme for the wedding. Guest were greeted by Hawaiian’s in costume giving everyone a flowered lei to wear and a shell that would be tossed in the ocean at the end of the ceremony.

For the shell toss I said, “On the count of 3 we will all toss our shells into the water & as the ripples touch & intertwine with one another may our love & best wishes also join together for Nicole & Rick.” “Ready 1-2-3- TOSS!”

The wedding was outside on the lawn facing the gulf. They had over 100 guests in attendance. Weddings & Events by Suda coordinated the day of events. Suda had everyone lined up, and was very timely and organized.

They even had me decorated with Hawaiian lei

Bridesmaids wore mint green dresses all knee length except for maid of honor who was wearing a gown. Groomsmen were comfortably dressed beige slacks, vest and ties. Nichole looked so beautiful. She wore a strapless off the shoulders white dress with a pretty pearl and jewel necklace that just accented her neckline and bead work on front of her dress. They all got their dresses at David’s Bridal.  Nichole had a Hawaiian version of here comes the bride played as she walked down the aisle. She was given away by her parents. At the end of the ceremony the guest were asked to go to the water’s edge for the shell toss. Guest were asked to make a blessing and a wish for the happy couple. Then at count of three toss the shells into the ocean.

The reception was inside following the ceremony. Delectable’s Catering did the catering and  Chantilly’s cakes made a beautiful cake.

Rick and Nicole were very pleased and happy with everything. They weren’t going on a honeymoon just yet as they had out of town guest visiting. Nichole and Rick were a great couple,  I enjoyed performing ceremony and being a part of their special Clearwater Beach wedding.

Clearwater area Gazebo Weddings

Your wedding doesn’t always have to be at a beach to capture a romantic setting for a wedding. How about a wedding under gazebo? I’ve been a part of many Clearwater area Gazebo weddings one of my favorite gazebos is Veteran’s Memorial Park in Oldsmar. It’s such a pretty spot in the park. The gazebo overlooks the water and is a very picturesque spot for a wedding. It can be rented through the City of Oldsmar. Chairs can be setup and shelters are nearby if you would want to have a park reception.

Another beautiful gazebo is in downtown Dunedin. Right near Edgewater Drive next to the Dunedin Marina. The gazebo is shaded and there are picnic tables and a playground nearby for children. The gazebo is nice and large. It can be rented through the City of Dunedin.

The gazebo in downtown Dunedin is a wonderful place for an outdoor Florida wedding.

Downtown Safety Harbor also has a beautiful spacious gazebo. It’s right in the heart of downtown near so many shops and restaurants. It can hold 60 chairs under the gazebo and has space for plenty more on the lawn. Gazebo, chairs, & tables can be rented through Safety Harbor Parks.

Clearwater area gazebo weddings not only capture a beautiful setting, but can be very reasonable to rent. The gazebos that I’ve mentioned are all near parks and offer something for guest with children. If you are considering a Clearwater area gazebo wedding we can offer a photographer, chairs,  music, ceremony officiant, and more to help you create you beautiful wedding in Florida.

Tampa Spanish Wedding Ceremony Officiant

Tampa Spanish Wedding Ceremony Officiant

News

There are a TON of people that speak Spanish in Florida- and in the Tampa area. We are fortunate to have our officiant, George Jr. aka Jorge 😉 as our bilingual notary because he speaks fluent Spanish…and he even kind of looks Hispanic even though he’s not 🙂 George Jr. studied Spanish through out college at the University of South Florida. While in college he had the opportunity to study abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico. This immersion program really allowed him to take his Spanish to the next level. Upon graduating college, George has continued to practice Spanish through programs like Rosetta Stone and Dulingo. He has officiated almost 50 weddings in Spanish throughout the Tampa Bay area.

On July 4, 2014 George Jr. was the Tampa Spanish Wedding Ceremony Officiant for Blanca and Rudy’s wedding. It was a nice simple ceremony at their home just outside of Tampa in Plant City. Everyone enjoyed the ceremony had a great time.

If you are looking for a fun Tampa Spanish Wedding Ceremony Officiant please do not hesitate to contact us! We love helping couples feel comfortable with their wedding ceremony and if having a Spanish speaking Officiant will help, we’d be glad to arrange George as your Officiant!
