A vow renewal ceremony is a wonderful opportunity for a couple to reflect on their marriage journey and to recommit their love for each other. A vow renewal ceremony can also be the opportunity to have the wedding you always dreamed of, but never had. Vow renewal ceremonies can also include children.

We can include a sand ceremony for the children to be a part of the ceremony. Each child participating along with parents would have a different color sand to blend into an empty center container. This symbolizes that the individual containers of sand can no longer be separated and so will your marriage and family never be separated. The blended container of sand is then given back to you for a keepsake souvenir.

On many occasions we perform surprise vow renewals. No legal documents are required for a vow renewal, so it is a great opportunity for a surprise ceremony. If you don’t have a gift for your anniversary a vow renewal ceremony is a treasured gift that will always be remembered. We have suggestions and ideas on how we can surprise your spouse. We have packages that include photographer or without photographer. We would always take photos with our “We Still Do and Always Will” sign and provide a souvenir certificate recognizing your ceremony.

Vow renewal ceremonies can be performed anywhere.  It can be at your home, park, beach or any place that you would like. This can be planned in advance or last minute!! We do a lot of Clearwater Beach vow renewal ceremonies and St. George Island vow renewal ceremonies. Vow renewal ceremonies on the beach while you are on vacation are a fun way to celebrate your love while enjoying your vacation.

Jodi wanted to surprise her husband, Joe, with a vow renewal ceremony on Clearwater Beach so she contacted me and asked if I could perform a vow renewal ceremony on Clearwater Beach celebrating their 10 year wedding anniversary. After talking a little bit, we came up with a plan ;)!!!

On Tuesday,  evening Jodi, Joe and their two twin daughters were walking on Clearwater Beach. Jodi had asked to have a rose petal heart in the sand.

After I had made the heart, I started looking out on the beach until I saw where they were. We had been texting saying what they would be wearing so I would know who to be looking for and to let her know when to start strolling my way. When they got close, I went up to Jodi and asked her if she could help me out. I told her I needed a photograph for a Clearwater Beach blog that I was doing and that they looked like just the family I had in mind for the picture. I asked her if they would mind standing in my rose petal heart while I took a photograph. I had two little bouquets of daisies that I gave to each of their 5 year old twin girls and said these are for you for letting me take your picture.

Jodi knew she was to play along with what I was doing. I then introduced myself, but had told Jodi not to introduce herself back to me. Joe just kind of looked and was going along with it like, hmmm ok…. After I got them to stand in the heart, I told them how I wanted them to stand for the picture I was taking. I held my phone up and pretended to be taking a picture. When I put down my phone, I had a surprised look on my face and said, “Are you Joe & Jodi Goane?” They looked at me like , Uh yeah?? Are we suppose to know you? I said to Joe, “A secret admirer shared with me a special occasion that you recently celebrated and asked if I would come here tonight and perform a wedding vow renewal ceremony celebrating your 10 year wedding anniversary.” Joe was SO surprised!! He couldn’t believe it!!! We all laughed and we proceeded with the vow renewal ceremony on Clearwater Beach.

The two little five year old girls, Reesa & Regan, were just adorable and were like little flower girls holding the daisies pretending that they were at a wedding.

Jodi and Joe were vacationing on Clearwater Beach. Their anniversary was on July 17th so Jodi thought this was a perfect opportunity to renew their wedding vows.

The following morning Jodi sent me a text saying,“Thanks again, Charmaine. My husband was very shocked! He still can’t believe it.”
