Unique Tampa Area Wedding Locations

Unique Tampa Area Wedding Locations

News

As a Tampa wedding officiant service, we are often are asked about unique places or ideas for a Tampa area wedding. We haven’t performed weddings at all the following locations, but do have some scheduled to do in the near future.

We think all of these are great ideas for a unique Tampa area wedding!

In November, George Jr. will be performing a wedding at Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. The wedding will be in the Reilly Reserve in the zoo where the giraffe’s are locate. There is a Safari Lodge where the reception can be held. The lodge is in the Safari Africa habitat area where there are zebra’s, elephants, giraffe’s and more. How cool?!?!!!! We’ll be sure to blog after the event!!

Another idea for unique Tampa area wedding… Big Cat Rescue in Tampa. Ceremonies can be held in the Big Cat Sanctuary. The Big Cat Rescue is home to 100’s of unwanted, abandoned, and abused animals. All the wedding dollars go directly to the cats providing them with food and healthcare. Receptions are not available at the Rescue but guest can get a close-up private tour of the sanctuary.

How about having these cats as your wedding guests?

How about going to a private island for your unique Tampa area wedding? Island Paradise Charters leaves out of New Port Richey, FL.  It travels down towards the Anclote Key Islands off Tarpon Springs. Dolphins, manatees, and beautiful birds will be seen as you travel to the private island. You can have your wedding ON the boat or on the private island. You can have an island cookout for your reception and just have a fun beach wedding and ceremony.

Charter a boat and get married on a private island OR get married right on the boat!

We’ve performed weddings on boats where we’ve been brought out to private islands and it’s always a fun time.

Sweating for the Wedding

Sweating for the Wedding

Sweating for the wedding! As Clearwater/Tampa/Tallahassee wedding officiants, we’ve heard ALL the phrases. I love for the brides I work with to look wonderful in their wedding dresses, but urge you not to go overboard and be unhealthy.

I’m really into fitness and health so the idea of having a workout plan is fun for me. If your wedding is what it takes to get you motivated to move then so be it. You don’t have to join a fancy gym or hire a personal trainer to get in shape for your wedding.  There’s plenty of inexpensive and free ways to get you moving- like walking, running, biking. I did a quick Pinterest search of wedding workout plans and a TON of at home options popped up!!!

Check out this easy to follow 6-week wedding workout plan:

If you’re having a hard time getting into your wedding workout routine try asking a friend to join you. Working out with a friend is always more enjoyable and it’ll help keep you accountable.

Search online for awesome pre-wedding workout shirts...sometimes wearing a fun shirt can motivate you to get out the door and get your workout on!

You could also partner up with your fiance and get in shape for the wedding together. It’d be a fun activity while working towards the same goal…and this way you both look great at the wedding 🙂

Working out while planning your wedding is an AWESOME stress reliever! Planning a wedding is stressful, I know (I did it only 1 year ago!).  You’re going to be bombarded with ideas, questions, wants, disappoints, and decisions so it’s important to take time for YOU– and that could be in the form of working out.

Whatever you decide to do to get your body ready for your wedding is fine. It’s your body and your wedding so do what makes YOU happy. And again please do not go over board worrying about your body image on your wedding day. Remember your fiance and friends love you for who you are and you don’t need to change anything.
