Our Favorite Pinellas County nondenominational wedding ceremony chapels
We’re in Florida so beach wedding ceremonies are popular! But maybe having your toes in the sand and sun in your face on your for your wedding ceremony is not your thing. An alternative option to a beach wedding ceremony is to have a nondenominational wedding ceremony at a chapel. With the heat of the summer and rainy season a chapel is a suggestion to consider when planning your Florida wedding. Here are a few Pinellas County nondenominational wedding ceremony chapels available for rent that we recommend:
St Michael’s Shrine in Tarpon Springs. This beautiful little shrine is very spiritual. Light a candle and enjoy the peace. The chapel has only a few pews and no air conditioning. It is very small, but quite beautiful. No charge is required to use the chapel for your wedding. It is just asked that a donation to be given. The chapel is just a few blocks from Tarpon Springs sponge docs. The chapel is open from 7am-6pm. The chapel ask that you notify them in advance if you would like the chapel for a wedding.
Andrew Memorial Chapel in Dunedin. This historic chapel is located by then entrance to Hammock Park and close to downtown Dunedin. The building has a charming Victorian style. They welcome all faiths and orientations. The chapel can be rented out hourly, and has seating for up to 130 people. The pews are hand carved, and has a nautical beamed ceiling.
Palm Harbor Reba Sutton White Chapel in downtown Palm Harbor is a historic 1920’s White Chapel. The chapel has a bride room and groom room available, and an adjacent reception hall if needed.
These chapels allow you to bring your own officiant to perform your wedding ceremony. You are not required to use a priest or minister. We have officiated ceremonies at all these lovely chapels. Here are a few of pictures.
