Summertime Morning Wedding Ceremonies are the best!!!

Sunrise or very early morning is the nicest time of day for a beach wedding in the Florida Summer. Also if you want a quiet, peaceful atmosphere for your summertime wedding ceremony morning is by far the nicest time for just that. Summers in Florida get very hot and humid as the day goes on. In the morning it isn’t as hot and humid making it so much more comfortable thus why we highly recommend summertime morning wedding ceremonies.

A Beautiful Wedding in Florida had a beautiful sunrise vow renewal ceremony on Sunday for Brenda and Kenneth. We were the first and only ones on the beach at Sand Key Park in Clearwater at 7:00 AM. George Sr and I made a fresh rose petal heart in the sand and George SR took photos. Brenda and Kenneth were celebrating their 25th year wedding anniversary on that day. They were vacationing in Florida from Missouri. Brenda and Kenneth chose to commemorate their ceremony with the giving and receiving of communion recognizing their spiritual commitment and showing their participation in the body of Christ. The quiet ambiance at the beach allowed us to just listen to the waves of the ocean and have a very undisturbed vow renewal ceremony.

Immediately following Brenda and Kenneth’s vow renewal ceremony, we had a wedding ceremony at 9:00 AM on Honeymoon Island in Dunedin. George Sr. and I met Hope and Wendy at the beach before the beach crowds started to arrive. We setup the arbor on the white sand where no beach goers had arrived yet then had a lovely wedding ceremony. Hope and Wendy chose to participate in a unity sand ceremony with pink and purple sands to be blended.

Summertime morning wedding ceremonies are popular! We officiated another morning wedding ceremony before the Honeymoon Island park opened. Bonenita and Jody were married outside of Honeymoon Island State park before it opened! They are fishermen and chose to tie the knot with the fishermen’s knot ceremony.

Quite often summertime morning wedding ceremonies or sunrise ceremonies are celebrated without guests but guests are not excluded. After the wedding ceremony you can have a celebrotary reception brunch or beach day. We always say “It’s your day” have fun with it.

First Honeymoon Island wedding ceremony of the Fall

First Honeymoon Island wedding ceremony of the Fall

In March, Nicole hired me to officiate her Honeymoon Island wedding ceremony on October 3rd at sunset.  We corresponded periodically over the summer in preparing their ceremony vows.  Nicole and Adam were traveling to Florida from Indiana. Nicole loves the ocean and even asked me in our correspondence about advice on moving to Florida.

This past Saturday was a picture perfect evening. The humidity had gone down and we had no rain! About 20 guest attended their Honeymoon Island wedding ceremony. They had three bridesmaids and groomsmen.  The bridesmaids wore a lavender colored dresses and held bouquets with calla lilies and roses. Nichole had a larger bouquet with same type of flowers. The colors were beautiful with the beach sunset atmosphere.

Adam’s Dad walked Nichole down the aisle. Nicole and Adam stood in front of the four post bamboo poles with white draped fabric that was overlooking the ocean right at sunset. Nichole wanted to remember her Dad, “who was absent physically, but remembered in their thoughts and prayers his loving presence.” They also asked to remember their dog “Chevy” who is no longer with them, but remembered as their baby. As a dog lover I thought this was a very sweet sentiment.

The moment Adam saw Nicole he had tears in his eyes. He was tearful throughout most of the ceremony. The love they have for each other was so true and seen in both of their eyes. Their ceremony was very emotional. After the ceremony they were having a reception at Frenchy’s restaurant on Clearwater Beach.

Nicole and Adam met online plentyoffish.com. They have been together for two years and completely enjoy one another’s company. Before returning back to Indiana, they were going to Disney World and the other Orlando theme parks.  They had spent almost a week in Florida already and loved it.

Nicole and Adam thanked me for a beautiful Honeymoon Island wedding ceremony and I thanked them for allowing me to be a part of it for it is always a pleasure to see love in bloom and participate in the union of two people so well suite for one and other.

Saturday was a beautiful day for a Honeymoon Island wedding ceremony. Louis & Joni were married at sunset on Honeymoon Island. They met 10 years ago on matchmaker.com. He is from Montreal Canada and she is local Palm Harbor-ian. Joni is a freelance writer and had a few particulars she wanted in the vows, and some not. She didn’t want to have any reference to money in the vow piece. She asked to omit the richer or poorer and replace it with, “my heart will be your shelter, and my arms will be your home.”

It was a Pinterest wedding. They had made an arbor out of branches and intertwined them together. The arbor was accented along the sides with little flowers. A fabric banner was that says Love/Amour made out of paper flags was along the side the sides of the arbor. They had pink, green and white pin wheels placed alongside the white chairs, and another wooden sign at entrance to chairs saying “by the sea I pledge my love to thee”

We had an early cold spell this past weekend. It went down to 48 degrees and was windy. The sun was bright and we had a gorgeous blue sky.  George Jr. officiated a chilly Honeymoon Island wedding for Sheena and Dennis. They didn’t have any guest other than their two children. They wanted a simple beach Honeymoon Island wedding ceremony.

Both children were so cold. Noah had to put his Dad’s suite coat on while doing photographs and the daughter wrapped up in a shawl to keep herself warm. Sheena looked so pretty!!  Sheena and Dennis were so happy and giggly. They were very cute. They are truly a beautiful family and were a great couple to work with.

George Sr. and George Jr. enjoyed working together to provide Sheen and Dennis a wonderful Honeymoon Island wedding experience.
Sheena and Dennis had no big plans made for after the ceremony. Their main thing was to get married 🙂 They were very thankful to both George’s, and we are thankful to know them. Congratulations!

Impromptu Honeymoon Island Wedding

Impromptu Honeymoon Island Wedding

Garrett looked me up on Google Saturday afternoon while he was having lunch and e-mailed me asking if I could perform a impromptu Honeymoon Island Wedding. He just wanted a simple beach wedding ceremony on Sunday at Honeymoon Island. I was available so we decided on a time and location to meet. The plan for his impromptu Honeymoon Island wedding was to meet 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 17. At 5:00 PM Sunday Garrett called asking if George Sr. could take pictures. Soo I quickly got George out of the pool and had him come along with me to photograph the wedding while I officiated. We Garret his fiance, Jen, at a pretty spot on Honeymoon Island and had a beautiful beach ceremony.

Garrett and Jen have been together for over 7 years. They had been busy traveling with their 11 year old daughter who recently participated in the Jr. Olympic Tae Kwon Do competition and had a lot of recent traveling tournaments. They wanted to do more for their wedding, but didn’t want their marriage license to expire. So they were very happy that I could perform the ceremony and George taking photos was just the extra that they wanted.

Their daughter Danielle did her and her Mother’s hair. She was so happy to be the flower girl and was excited to be a part of the wedding. Jen looked so pretty. She held a bouquet of red roses and had a beautiful dress that was just fitting for a beach wedding.

The wedding was supposed to just be Garrett, Jen and their daughter, but once word got out they ended up having a few friends show up….Everyone loves a wedding.

Garrett e-mailed me that night shortly after I got home and wrote, “Thank you!!! You did an awesome job and we appreciate your services.”

I love being able to coordinate a impromptu wedding and make everything work out how the couple wanted!
