Clearwater Weddings on Halloween

News

This year Halloween fell on a Friday, which made it a GREAT day for Clearwater weddings on Halloween night! George and myself both had fun opportunities to officiated Clearwater weddings on Halloween night. Both weddings were Halloween themed which made them hilarious and fun!We always say, “Your weddings is YOUR day! Let us help you create the ceremony of your dreams!” and if it’s a Halloween themed wedding then we are there to make it the best Halloween wedding ever!

George Jr. got a last minute call from someone inquiring about him doing a wedding on Clearwater Beach for them on Halloween. They asked if he could dress up as a pirate. George said he didn’t have a pirate costume, but had a leprechaun outfit, and offered to wear it. George said the leprechaun would bring them good luck. George met Michael and Valerie on Clearwater Beach Halloween night and performed a sunset beach wedding for them. They were a fun couple and really enjoyed being married by a leprechaun…. and they appreciated the good luck that the leprechaun marrying them brought to them. Hah!

I had a backyard wedding on Halloween at Marie and Leo’s home in Clearwater. Marie and Leo were dresses as convicts with orange pants, white shirts, and ball and chains wrapped around their ankles. The set up for the wedding ceremony was gravestones, with spider webs in the background, and orange lights. They were having a Halloween costume party for the reception. Guest were all dressed up in all kinds of fun costumes. As I was performing the ceremony as they were looking at each other and it was hard for them to keep a straight face without laughing. I was the only one not dressed up in costume, trying to be serious. It was a FUN wedding, and a great couple.

Halloween weddings are such fun. Couples come up with some great creative ideas for ceremonies and receptions. I wasn’t asked to dress in costume for this wedding, although I have officiated other Clearwater wedding on Halloween. Don’t let Halloween scare you from having a wonderful wedding.

After 47 e-mails and 10 months of corresponding, I finally met and officiated Melissa & Mark’s Sand Key Park  in Clearwater wedding on Saturday night. Melissa was having about 10-15 guest and the wedding party would be their three small children. She wanted to have a sand ceremony and asked for us to provide table and cloth covering. George Sr took photos and brought our portable i-pod player so we could provide the music for the ceremony.  We also made a heart in the sand with yellow, red, and pink rose petals.

Mark wore a black tux with an orange tie and vest. Their youngest boy, Riley, was the ring bearer and first to walk down to the beach. He was so cute! Had on a black suite with an orange tie and vest that matched his Dad’s. When he walked up to Mark he handed him a note. Mark opened it and read, “I can’t wait to marry you, Mark.I love you Melissa.”

The two daughters were flower girls Kayden and Bailey. They followed after Riley. They had pretty oranges dresses on and were adorable!!

Melissa then followed the girls. She looked beautiful. She wore a bear neck sleeveless white dress with a jeweled necklace. She was carrying a bouquet of yellow and orange flowers tied together with an orange ribbon that matched the orange colors of the wedding party.

Melissa and Mark have been together for over 6 years. They met at their jobs where Mark is a welder and Melissa was a bookkeeper. It was about time after 6 years that they were married!! You could see the love and joy they had for one another.

George Sr. took pictures, before, after and during the ceremony. Just as he was taking photos he noticed the dark clouds rolling in. Fortunately most of the photos were done. He wanted to do a few more, but it was starting to rain. Then it started to pour. He and everyone from the wedding were able to run and not get totally soaked. At least all went well for the ceremony and photos. It was so nice to meet Melissa after so many months of corresponding and planning together. She e-mailed me the following day saying, “Thanks for everything. You guys did an amazing job!!!”

Morning Wedding at Sims Park in New Port Richey

Morning Wedding at Sims Park in New Port Richey

Nichole and Richard met each other on OkCupid.com. They celebrated their 1 year of being together today and were married on Tuesday, August 19th. They had a morning wedding at Sims Park in New Port Richey, Florida.

They traveled from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where they live, to be with their family and  friends who live in New Port Richey, Florida. They wanted a morning wedding so they could go out and enjoy the rest of the day and go to the beach.

It was a morning wedding at Sims Park in New Port Richey under one of the park’s gazebos. Sims Park has two gazebos. One is in the park and the other is outside the park by the Pasco County Historical Society just a little ways from the park. Nichole chose the gazebo by the Historical Society. It is an older wooden gazebo. It looks out onto a beautiful water fountain surrounded by gorgeous trees and has a very peaceful surrounding. The gazebo by the Historical Society doesn’t charge to use it as long as it is available. They had rented out the gazebo in the park just in case, but it worked out because nobody was in the gazebo that they wanted.

Nichole wore a knee length dress that was perfect for a hot Florida wedding. She got her dress at David’s Bridal and carried a pretty bouquet of pink flowers to go with her pink shoes.

Nichole and Richard were staying in the area for a few days before heading back to Fort Lauderdale. Morning weddings are always a great way to start a day. Nichole and Richard had a gorgeous day for their morning wedding at Sims Park in New Port Richey and I enjoyed officiating their ceremony and getting to know them.
